1989 Thanksgiving Video

In 1989, Clem Swagerty indicated that he wanted another large Swagerty Thanksgiving gathering. His two daughters, Kathy and Lydia and Donna Swagerty Shreve put the word out and started organizing the event. Eighty-four family members showed up at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, where Clem and Effie lived. Donna brought her video camera to film the occasion for Darrell and Nilma Swagerty, who couldn’t attend. We captured fifty-four minutes of the occasion. These fifty-four minutes are broken into thirteen segments which are on this page.
