Floyd and Melva Wartime Letters

During World War II, Floyd and Melva Swagerty were newlyweds. Floyd had just graduated from the College of the Pacific in 1941 and enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1942. He went through basic training in Norfolk, Virginia, and Melva wrote a letter to him in April, 1942. There are a few other letters, but the bulk of these letters were written between July 8 and October 24, 1945 while Floyd was deployed in the Pacific.
