Moss Family Movies, 1950 S. California Trip

In 1950, Roy and Margery Moss dropped off their youngest child, Mary Lou, with Roy’s mother, Vena Ober and her husband, Carl. They took their oldest child, Mardean on a trip to Southern California. The following videos chronicle the trip.

This is the first part of the 1950 trip from their home in Toledo, Oregon, to Southern California and back. They stopped at a sacred rubbing stone at Nee-tah-wa, and at the Old Oregon Historical Museum.The “Golden Hills of California” is also filmed.
