These are photos of the Swagerty/Aldrich Family which consists of Ernest Elmer Swagerty and Pearl Elizabeth Aldrich Swagerty and their children, Elsie Irene, Clemitt Lawrence, Floyd Elmer, Darrell Malcolm, and Jack Marvin Swagerty. These pictures were taken during the early 20th century.

The older boys are wearing suits and the younger boys are in sweaters.

Elmer invited Uncle Mack along deer hunting. Mack brought a pistol instead of a rifle. Mack shot the deer but just wounded it.
Clem or Floyd had to mercy kill it. The young boys carried it out and were quite tired that night. 1932

Floyd Swagerty visiting Milpitas ranch during WWII. Elmer Swagerty, Jack Swagerty who could not enlist due to three older brothers already in the war.

1942 at the beginning of WWII, Clem enlisted in the air force and Floyd enlisted in the Navy. Melva Boone Swagerty is in the middle.

1918 Pearl is holding Clem. Elmer is holding Elsie. Pearl reconstructed her wedding dress for more use. Taken in Hughson, California. Floyd was soon to be born.

Floyd played football all four years on a scholarship. This is about 1936 in Stockton, California.

Pearl, Melva and Floyd Swagerty are in San Francisco as Floyd reports for duty on his ship in 1944.
