These are photos of the Swagerty/Aldrich Family which consists of Ernest Elmer Swagerty and Pearl Elizabeth Aldrich Swagerty and their children, Elsie Irene, Clemitt Lawrence, Floyd Elmer, Darrell Malcolm, and Jack Marvin Swagerty. These pictures were taken during the early 20th century.

Floyd Swagerty visiting Milpitas ranch during WWII. Elmer Swagerty, Jack Swagerty who could not enlist due to three older brothers already in the war.

1942 at the beginning of WWII, Clem enlisted in the air force and Floyd enlisted in the Navy. Melva Boone Swagerty is in the middle.

In 1972 Donna taught second grade in Escalon, California. She took her students on a tour of the town highlighting the main helpers in town. The last stop was to her grandfather’s home where he came out and told them stories on the front lawn. The occasion was enjoyed by all.

Elmer & Pearl’s wedding picture in 1914. Pearl and Elmer had ridden to the photographer in an open top car and Pearl had wanted to fix her hair but Elmer hurried her along, thus her hair has fallen around her as opposed to neatly on top of her head.
